1. Architecture & system design
- Requirements, feasibility, block diagram
- Selection of SoC, MCU, FPGA, sensors and interfaces
- Bus and network concepts: Ethernet/PoE, CAN, RS-485, LoRaWAN, USB
- Security and update concept from day one
2. PCB design
- Schematic and layout in KiCad
- Mixed-signal, analog front-ends, power
- Design for manufacturing, supply chain (incl. China)
- Mechanical integration, enclosureless designs
3. Certification
- EMC preparation and support in the test lab
- CE conformity, documentation
- Experience with test runs in Germany and China
4. Software bring-up
- Microcontrollers: bare-metal, RTOS, bootloaders
- FPGA: VHDL/Verilog, bitstream pipelines
- Zynq: FSBL/U-Boot, device tree, Yocto Linux with SBOM
- Versioned, reproducible toolchains
5. Firmware
- Drivers, protocols, measurement data paths
- Over-the-air updates, telemetry, logging
- Testing on hardware-in-the-loop rigs
6. Decentralised measurement & DAQ
- Measurement nodes instead of measurement PCs: timestamps at the source
- Analog front-ends, sensors, PoE measurement networks
- From Excel islands to a shared time base
7. Monitoring & observability
- Telemetry pipelines from device to dashboard
- Condition monitoring, predictive maintenance
- Operations, alerting, long-term archiving

Terms
Day rate from € 80 net, depending on task and duration. Fixed prices for clearly scoped packages (e.g. feasibility study, PCB layout, training day) on request. Your contracting party is nabla B UG; when a project needs it we add capacity from the AI-Gruppe — contract and responsibility stay with nabla B.
